The provision of short term respite residential or nursing care gives an individual, their family or carer(s) the ideal opportunity for a holiday or small break from regular daily care duties. We do recognise the great importance of these rest periods and how essential they can be, so we are always happy to discuss and plan for a period of stay that suit all parties. This opportunity often allows for a later integration and easy passage into a more permanent residency. Even though a spell of respite stay may be short, Laxfield House will do everything possible so as to make sure that everyone feels welcome and comfortable. Respite care residents are encouraged to enjoy all of the same activities, entertainment and services that our longer-term residents enjoy and look forward to.
