Our residents are regularly assessed so as to ensure that their individual care plans help the Home identify their personal care needs and activity interests. This assessment process actively involves the resident at all times in conjunction with their family, doctor and the care team allowing for open and transparent communication and input at all times.
With our supernumerary Matron / Manager, Mrs Judy Carne RGN, RMA, and our dedicated team of nursing sisters and care assistants, you can be assured that the care that your loved one receives here at Laxfield House will meet the highest professional standards.
All our staff are trained to the highest level, with our nursing staff remaining current within their professional accountability with the NMC. The majority of our carers hold NVQ 1, 2 and 3 levels in Social Care. We have an in-house Training Coordinator to facilitate this and to maintain the statutory on-going training.
